These tasty treats are based on ground timothy hay rather than alfalfa. They are blended with high oleic acid sunflower meal which won't upset the omega-3:omega-6 ratio.  Testing has confirmed a combined sugar and starch level of less than 10%.  In fact, the average of the three flavors is only 6.4%.
